Here we go again and this time to the mailing list and not by accident to  
Zdenek's private mailbox as the first try :)

1) my problem is that I have no impact on the dlopening of my shared object 
as i do not have any access to the entire code of the main application.
2) I solved it by modifying the
LDADD and LFLAGS lines for win32.so  in the Makefile.am (respective Makefile 
as i did not find a configure.in or configure.ac in the base tree)
I added in 
the LDADD line 
../../lib/libaviplay.la
and in the LDFLAGS line 
-lpthread

This worked for me and solved all undefined symbols in win32.so :)
