1) my problem is that I have no impact on the dlopening of my shared object as i do not have any access to the entire code of the main application. 2) I solved it by modifying the LDADD and LFLAGS lines for win32.so in the Makefile.am (respective Makefile as i did not find a configure.in or configure.ac in the base tree) I added in the LDADD line ../../lib/libaviplay.la and in the LDFLAGS line -lpthread This worked for me and solved all undefined symbols in win32.so :) cu Christoph -- It doesn't matter what you are it matters that you are yourself It doesn't matter who loves you it matters that you like yourself _______________________________________________ Avifile mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://prak.org/mailman/listinfo/avifile
