I felt a bit like that when I started with Away3D as well, but I've
gotten all my questions answered on this forum and that's really the
way to do it. That way it's available for everyone else to learn from
until someone takes the time to get it into the documentation. For
instance - I've asked a similar question about applyRotations and
applyPosition before:

Back then, I didn't put the response I got into the documentation (I
