Well you are doing two things wrong.

1. You are trying the Flash 9 version on CS4. You have to try the Flash 10
version. I don't think the Flash 9 version is supposed to work on CS4.

2. You are assuming something is broken and you are blaming the devs for
something you haven't really looked into.

We are here to help you with Away3D, and I think your problem could have
been solved without you accusing the Devs of making a broken product. If you
visit Away3D 's homepage you will notice a lot of award winning sites, of of
which could not have been made with broken software.
