If you're sure its there and that the url is relative to swf or absolute. Try 
adress of the 3ds file in browser, if you get file not found, add a txt file 
next to it. If it found, it probably means that your server doesn't support 
this mime type. You need to add a serverinfo file in parent dir. If the 3ds 
file is found, then the url you passed to loader3D is wrong.
