A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - chris (jugg)

Attached to Project - awesome
Summary - awesome crashes when second monitor is rotated
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Core
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - Linux
Severity - High
Priority - Normal
Reported Version - 3.5.2
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - I'm running Archlinux. I have an intel ivy bridge with integrated hd
4000 graphics laptop, with an external hdmi monitor connected after logging in,
which is then rotated vertically.

When executing the following from a terminal, awesome 3.5.2 crashes.

$ xrandr --output eDP1 --mode 1600x900 --rate 60.1 --primary
$ xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 1920x1200 --rate 60.0 --right-of eDP1 --rotate
left

Without rotating the screen it does not crash in 3.5.2.

Downgrading to awesome 3.5.1 it does not crash when rotating and works as
expected.
