Yes, as Subbu has stated its a bug which is been there
since Axapta 2.1 and 5 years down the time we are
still waiting to get this bug solved (first from
damgaard, then Navision and now Microsoft). It was
earlier mentioned that in Axapta 3 SP3 this would be
solved, but sadly this bug is still there. For some
reason even though the journal is not been used the
system some time keeps it the List (against the number
sequence). I have observed that it happens when the
journal is created and the user takes some time to
save it and the at the same time some other user
creates another journal. But it is very difficult to
make our clients understand about this problem.
Hope this bug is solved in the next version !!!
