Hi

 

I have shared Items which are used across sites.

 

** what exactly is this? How did u share the items.

 

As far as I know,RLS works only on forms n reports.

 

** I would have thought RSL works everywhere. Have u tested this?

 

I have setup coverage by wh and i have stock for BOM Line item with 3 different batches(one without batch).For the FG item,I have a sales forecast.So when it explodes,the MRP doesnt consider teh stock available for the input item. :( It just creats a PO for the FC Qty. :(( Trying to see where the problem is . :))

** can u restate ur question, bit confused as to the sales forecast part? You have stock on hand at three batches and MRP does not consider the stock available. Now is batch a physical inventory and / or financial inventory? Is ‘coverage plan by dimension’ selected for batch number?

 

First step would be to create stock on hand without batch number and then see if MRP is considering this stock
