This asks me more questions again. Again as per my exp,  Can you please check these items also.
 
1. Are they any recent layer copies from one environment to another environment?.
 
2. If so, did they copy with the correct SP builds?
 
Since you are able to see only SYS and SYP, that means noone has touched this class. But Again, what are the layers you can see for the class..If you see only SYS and SYP, since you are getting this error, may be you may want to log a case with MS. As since we are ( almost every member ) using SP3 with hot fixes...Since you didn't have hot fixes, Its the best to contact MS on this so that can 'Quickly' walk through.
 
please let me know if you have any luck. If you are using SP3, I could have compared the class with my test environment..
