wanted to try this myself but looks like it will take me a week to get around this.
if it is urgent what you can do is take advantage of the fact that....
if a table as cachelookup property to 'entire table' then even if you enable sql trace, you cannot see any sql statement (in sql statement trace log) selecting records from the particular table.
what you could do is enable sql trace, change company, select records from this table just to be sure and check sql statement trace log. This will answer your question.
