Yes. If you intend to offset the load on the AOS itÂ’s best to use a batch server. This should be a server equivalent to or almost equivalent to the AOS and in the same area as the AOS and database servers with a high speed connection to the database server (probably 1Gbps). This is simply a 3-tier FAT client where the application is loaded via the AOS and executed on the batch server. In addition the batch server is connected directly to the database server and not via the AOS.
