Hi,
First thing is that when you specify port number you also have to change the
instance name in the connection tab of configuration utility to that of the
second instance.

One of the reason of second AOS not starting could be that the port number
that you are using for second AOS instance is already in use. It once
happened with me too that the port number that was specified for second AOS
was used by other application ad hence AOS wasn't getting started for this
you can go to server configuration utility and change the port number for
AOS there, and note if you change the port number of AOS then you also need
to change the same in client configuration.

But also try seeing the error message in event viewer, that will give you an
insight into the reasons for AOS not getting started.
