Thanks.

But this solution does not fit my needs. I need tu give a parameter by
myself.
What i want to do is something like this:

while select (condition ? macro(1) : macro(0)) from table1 { long code
here }

and the macro wold be something like

#define.arg(%1)
#if.arg(1)
    forupdate
#endif

so if the parameter is 1 (or i can use whatever value) result will be
select for update
else result will be just select without forupdate.

I know that i could simply use something like if(true) while select
forupdate{} else while select{},
but i would like to get that macro work.

Now try this piece of code.

Dont give parameters while you are calling the macro.

int i;
#LOCALMACRO.doInfo
#DEFINE.ARG(1)
#IF.ARG
print("reached");
pause;
#ENDIF
#ENDMACRO
;
i = 1;
#doInfo(1)// -- this works (prints)
#doInfo(i)

Thanks
Manoj

Subject: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Help with macro?

Hi.

I have a question about macro IF.

My code is something like this:

int i;

#LOCALMACRO. doInfo

#DEFINE.ARG( 1)

#IF.ARG(%1)

print("Reached here");

#ENDIF

#ENDMACRO

or

#LOCALMACRO. doInfo

#DEFINE.ARG( %1)

#IF.ARG(1)

print("Reached here");

#ENDIF

#ENDMACRO

i = 1;

#doInfo(1) -- this works (prints)

#doInfo(i) -- this does not work (no print)

Why the second #doInfo(i) don't work?

How is it possible to compare some variable inside macro?

Thank You.
