Hello Lars,

I think you need to assign each user for who he'll connect to.
what i mean is:
Open User Form then highlight which user you need and be sure that 
each user is part of one or more EP Groups, in the right sight open 
user relation for this user then assign this user to be an employee 
or external user or what ever its up to you, then put the EP site URL 
and assign the user to any SharePoint Group [ Owner, Member or 
Vistor ].
I hope if you got it now, because this is the way EP site will work 
for each users in your system.
