Hi,

XP normally has a local account and to install and manage an AOS you require
domain account. Thats why you cannot install AX 4.0 AOS on XP. I have read
many discussions on this and some had suggested downloading ADAM (Active
Directory Application Mode) and installing it. Then create a domain account
and install AX thru that. I have not done that myself anytime and am not
sure if this works or not. But you can try it once and let us know if it
succeeds. If you want u can download the ADAM from following link.
