[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Account Payable - Purchase Journal

Hi,

What is the purpose of Purchase Journal in Account payable? This kind of  
record only can use for importing batch data, cannot be post. Why is the main 
concern of creating this journal? In real life, does this journal been frequent 
use?
