Anitha , Scenario is I want to create a seperate form ex: workorder form which is using the datasource purchtable. I want create alerts for that form based on condition( condition is: while creating a 'po' show alert to uster that work order is created) Ok upto now no issues.

[1 Attachment] James, You are right... It is for table level. But there is a way to handle this.. It is possible to set condition when generating alerts. For e.g., Check the attachement. Here there is a tab " ALERT ME FOR" . In the third option of the sames tab,"Only the records in SO that match the filter". User can filter the records in the Sales Order Table.
