Oisin Hurley commented on AXIS2C-287:
-------------------------------------

Thanks for applying the patch, Sanjaya, and apologies for the build breakage!

Build works fine on MacOS X, *but* slight issue that the server won't start :-)

The issue is around header file clashes, it's just a matter of making sure that
the AXIS2_LIB_SUFFIX is correctly defined for MacOS X. The 'best' way to do
this to have autoconf do it in config.h, or get autoconf to define a IS_MACOSX
macro in the same place. In either case, axis2_unix.h will need to include
config.h, but this is causing name clashes on Linux I guess.

I've got hold of a VMware virtual appliance with a VM of Ubuntu 6.06, so I will
fix it up on MacOS and then try it out in the appliance - which should let me
produce a new patch that works on both :-)
