Hi Mark; I feel http://wiki.apache.org/ws/FrontPage/Axis2/Tasks/BinarySerialization is quite a good bet. Nobody works on it right now. Mat be it a good summer project proposal
1) It is quite isolated .. so less trouble 2) it is important for Axis2 If you have any trouble in the work we will do our best to help.
