Try to change the name of your class to MyDate instead of Date, and see if that works fine.I think there is a problem with java2WSDL when i use a complex type which extends Date or Calandar.
It appears that the wsdl file is incomplete. Can you just post it on the web somewhere, the entire wsdl file, so it can be looked at carefully?
