I am a simple user touch by inertia in is project ; I may do too much
landscaping work, I also administer the web site of my employer
(www.sapinbleu.com - the site is in french). I have vision of some
usefull usage of XML (RDF espacialy) for that site. But I'm going away
of my point ; here for my 2cents. I think that we shall kept TomKit
within the AxKit mailing list but with some rules. Like tagname in the
subject...
I'm just one of the (former) core developers, and therefore only
speaking for myself. I think that there are issues with the current
state of a number of Perl/XML projects that need to be addressed, AxKit
being one of them.
It may help within any Perl project for solution it will brings.
I don't think that splitting off into another mailing list will bring
any good, in fact to be honest I think that doing so will likely kill
off any effort to move forward and waste a lot of energy.
I therefor vote for keeping it in the axkit-dev mailing list.
