This is on RH9. Apache 1.3-27 and mod_perl 1.27 are installed and running, but AxKit 1.61 Makefile.PL says
> Checking if your kit is complete... > Looks good > checking for iconv() in -liconv... no > checking for libiconv() in -liconv... no > checking for iconv() in -lc... no > AxKit needs the iconv system library to work properly. This comes by > default with most Unix systems, however it may be that you do not > have the development libraries installed, or possibly that you just > don't have iconv available on your system. For *BSD systems, iconv > is available in your distribution's ports collection. For Win32 > systems, a google search will often suffice to find a Win32 library > version. But I *have* iconv, AFAIK, it's part of glibc, and that's installed: > # rpm -qa | grep -i glibc > glibc-2.3.2-27.9 > glibc-kernheaders-2.4-8.10 > glibc-common-2.3.2-27.9 > glibc-devel-2.3.2-27.9 How do I tell AxKit it's already there? There doesn't seem to be an install option to do this. ///Peter --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
