Mr.Edgar, How would one use this site to research ancestors?I tried entering a surname in the search box and upon entering, it just went right back to the same page that lists all the Freguesias. Lisa L

My first relative to settle here used his middle name of Luiz as his surname, his father used Noia, which was his mothers surname, his fathers brother used Coelho Rodrigues which was his fathers surname. You should use the information I've sent to search the Baptism records for Fajazinhathat are online at the Centro do Concemiento Acores site here : http://pg.azores.gov.pt/drac/cca/ig/registos/default.aspx?concelho=28 You can construct an extensive family tree without leaving the house!
