Natalia was the first person who translated the email for me, I sent
it and received a reply! He wrote a very nice email in English and
said that he can speak some English, though his reply was perfect
English. So he is glad to share info. I sent him another email amd am
waiting to hear about our joint ancestors. There are lots of people in
Brazil doing family history on the Azores, too.
A big thanks to Natalia- it worked.
Eliseu- appreciate the offer, you must have gotten busy.
To Elaine - well he can communicate in English :)
To Marcia- that is a good suggestion. I am a little concerned with
using those translators on personal correspondance. I think that the
translation may say something I don't want to say and I will offend or
confuse someone. Luckily I was able to get some help. I have used the
online translation for looking at documents so you are correct that it
can be a help.
I am thankful to all of you for responding to my email. I sometimes
wish I had something to contribute instead of just asking for help
always. Maybe in time.
