Do you know what your grandfather Jose Ferreira Simoes parent's names were? The father of Maria Martin (Simoes) Rebello and Ermilinda Ferreira Simoes is Jose Ferreira Simoes. Maybe he is a brother? They came to New Bedford in 1901-1902 time period from Provoacao. Did your grandfather marry in New Bedford? Thanks for your response!
