        Hi Pat,

I have not been active lately on the Azores Group but when I saw your
message about Silveria a town in Pico I wanted to let you know that I know a
Becky Madruga whos relatives are from that town and we are suppose to be
related to her. We have not found the exact connection because I have not
completed that part of my genealogy yet. We have the same relative name but I
have not yet confirmed it is the same as her relative. Anyway she has lots of
relatives from that town and you could also be related to her.

If you want to I could ask her if she knows your Grandmother if you let
me know her name and approx age. A lot of my relatives come from Lajes do
Pico. We have Machado, Nunes, Madruga, and many other names from there. Let
me know if you would like to persue this line. My email address is
vchris1...@yahoo.com

        Thank you,
        Vivian (Silva) Christy

Well, there you are, Pat. Guess it is a small village then. :) It
looks to be beautiful!

Silveira is not a town that I'm aware of. It might be a small
village close by, but it is not on the map I have.

Would Silveira, Pico be the same church as Lajes do Pico? I
recently found out this is my grandmothers home.

                Thanks,
