The "min" is viuvo for widowed.  The next column is maritimo for maritime.
The dittos are for legitimate child (he was born in wedlock) in the council
of Ponta Delgada in the parish (church) of Sao Jose.  He's illiterate, is an
emigrant, going 3rd class, for the first time.  The next column asks who
paid the passage and it looks like it says melth forte.  I know it doesn't
say that and I think it says he paid for the passage himself.  He's going to
the United States of America to Providence.

By-the-way, it says he registered to leave on Dec. 11, 1915, so he probably
left shortly after that.
