I found the UPEC record for Joseph Foster (Jose Faustino) and it said he was from Sao Jorge, which confirms the obit record of his sister Mary, which states she was from Sao Jorge. It did not give a village or town name however. The best piece of info that I just came across was the marriage record of Jose Faustino and his wife Luzia Souza, which lists the parents of both i believe. I am not sure how to attach something to my message, as I do not see an upload or attach button anywhere. It states his parents are Jose Faustino and Catharina (Asep..?). I am not sure what the last name is, as it appears abbreviated. Any suggestions?
