Bras Costa married to Margarida Furtado was born in Povoacao and married there. Margarida also was born in Povoacao. I believe, somewhere I have the notes for these baptisms and Bras' relation to Antionio Machado and Maria da Roe. They eventually moved to and settled in Furnas, then known as lugar de Maia.
Bras Costa Loureiro, is the one that appears in the baptism's of Maia and resided and married there, and this is where the confusion lies. They are not the same people, although both resided in Maia and/or Furnas. Will send files privately as soon as find notes.
