It reads: Year 1669 On Jan 21 of 1669, died Luzia de Sousa who had been (literally translated) the wife of Pedro da Sylveira Borges. Received the sacrament of penitence, communion and last rights. Is buried in this matrix church in the xxxx? in front of the pulpit nave. Did not make a will. Did not leave perpetuals for after her death.
