Hi Nancy, My travel agent, Ginny Dutra, told me to use ATM, they are in Ponta Delgada. Just to be safe I ordered Euros from my bank, although that is the expensive way to go. I'm leaving for Sao Miguel on June 7th from Oakland. You wouldn't happen to be on that same flight would you? Iris
