Thank you, John. Right now, I am using the netbook I won last year at the genealogy conf. and I am going to wait until I get the new computer (have not decided which one yet) before I try to put my FTM file info. into Roots Magic. I am trying to gather the information I need before I make any moves. The netbook is a challenge to someone who used to type on a manual typewritter an original and 7 carbons for the courts!!! I see that you are not able to install FTM 16 into Windows 7. Give it a try, the most that will happen is that it will not work. But RootsMagic can import an FTM file and should not be a problem. Just go to file, find import, click and follow instructions. JR On Nov 29, 7:57 pm, JR <jro...@rogers.com> wrote: > You should have no problems.
