Is anyone researching the village of Nordestinho on Sao Miguel. I was there 5
years ago and family name Couto is in the church cemetery. Last names,
Furtado, Couto, Monis or Moniz, Cabral, Franco, de Medeiros, Pimentel, Raposo ?
All in the 1800's. Grandmother settled in New Bedford/Fall River early 1900's.
