Guida; It seems your maternal grandfather "could be" the same as the
husband of my 1st cousin 5 times removed! Ha! Say that fast 3 times. I
have his wife as Isabel Caetano do Sacarmento de Jesus Valenca. Does this
correspond with what you have?

Repost for Guida (don't know why the stuff is messing up her message)

Deb,
You mention Azevedo relatives. Maybe we are related? My maternal
grandfather, Manuel Silveira Azevedo, came to California in the 1880s from
Sao Jorge Azores. I believe there were Azevedo's in the
Oakland/Stockton/San Leandro area in the early 1900s.

I drop in and out of this site as I have put my genealogy search on hold as
I finish grad school, but I'm always on the lookout for other
Azevedo's. what is your Azevedo lineage? Forgive me if I'm asking
you something's you've repeated often already. I'm currently in
Brazil. Feel free to answer me directly to my yahoo email address.
