Hi Emil, I am looking for the names that William Jason Wood (born Oct 30, 1830 I think) somewhere in Faial. Says on his marriage certificat in Boston, Ma in 1855, that his father was Janets (could be jacento) and his mother was Gacia (could be Garcia). His Naturalization papers read that his name is William J Wood from Fayall and that he arrived in New Bedford on or about January 10, 1844.
His witness statess that he arrived in the Fairhaven in 1844 on the ship Northern (can't find the ship) Tho not specific information, maybe somebody will know something. Thank you for the advise Sincerely, Carol ----- Original Message ----- From: ehsilve...@comcast.net To: azores@googlegroups.com Sent: Friday, August 31, 2012 18:11 Subject: Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Where to find Capelo, Castelo Branco, and Flamengos records Hi Carol, If you put some specific information about those you are researching from the areas you mention for our group members to see.
