Happy New Year, "E"! I'd love to know where she's building. Maybe sh'e a neighbor! Maybe we've even met over there. The summer months are filled with people whose roots are there. They say the Portuguese economy is in trouble and so it is but the money being put into land and construction in Pico is obvious all over the island. There's so much building going on......just in Santo Amaro there are houses being built by someone from England, Spain 3 U.S., Canada.....it's pretty amazing.Lucky her to be there for 3 months and in her new place! Nancy Jean, Just heard my niece is going to be in her new home in Pico for three months starting February. I guess it must be finished or close to it. I still do not know where in Pico it is but I will ask my sis who lives close to her to find out for me. I plan on visiting there one of these years. Happy New Year Everyone.
