Well, as Margaret states, there is another Manuel born some time before 
March 1863; likely in 1861. Also note the record states, "Anna Jacintha 
natural desta fraguesia onde forao *recebidos ...* desta paraquia. So it 
says they were married (recebidos)  in Achada and lived in Feteira Pequena, 
which is an outskirt of Achada proper. 

It may be of interest that I also have an ancestor from Ponta Garca whose 
marriage I cannot find, also circa 1860. One day when I go back to Sao 
Miguel, I will look in the family books and I am sure I will find it there. 
Somebody simply forgot to transcribe the record into the main church book. 
Like you, I have all the necessary information to go forward, despite not 
having the record. You have the children and grandparents names and that's 
what I have.
