Thanks, Eric. That is him in Stratford. Not sure about manifest. I believe they married in CA ca 1906 according to 1910 census. I did find his son's birth record on FHC site but not much info there. Do you have access to 1906 marriage records, probably around Oakland CA? Manuel Martin and Florence Martin (her maiden name also) I have written for obits for them. The S stands for Sousa.
