You can always go to your local library and order the paper on microfilm.
Out library will order on interlibrary loan for 50 cents! You just have to
know what paper you want and for what timeframe.

When I needed an obit from the San Jose paper I could not find any help in
obtaining one. I went to Sunnyvale to visit a friend in a nursing home and
on the way back to Sacramento, I stopped at one of their libraries and
looked it up on one of their machines. Only took a few minutes. I realize
this doesn't help if you are out of the area but maybe there is a listmember
who goes to the library there who could help??
