Carol,

You could fly SATA from Oakland.  I am not sure day(s) of week they fly
from there and where they fly into but a check on SATA site should tell you
this.  Also, SATA is using US airlines as connections thru some of
the locations Nancy Jean mentioned.  I try to post these whenever I see
them.  They also have some great fly/hotel packages and interisland flights
as well as Lisbon.  Their site is:

Just go there and play around with the possibilities of which island(s) you
