On Windows 8.1 and I think on Windows 8, you have two options for rotating an image. 1. Open the image by double-clicking. That opens the Windows Photo Viewer which has a rotation function in the tools at the bottom of the screen. Or 2. Go the Start screen and find Windows Paint. It’s in the Accessories. It has rotation and some simple photo editing tools. If you can’t find it, go to the Start screen and type “Paint.” You don’t need to select or click on anything. A search box will open on the right side of the screen and will display programs with the word “Paint” in them. Click on the result for “Paint” and it should open the Paint program. This should be easier than rotating your laptop. My old Photoshop doesn't work on this Windows 8 computer. A genealogy friend has a less older Photoshop that may work. She'll give me the disk when she finds it. Rotating in Photoshop would be easier than turning my computer upside down!
