Luis married a "Maria do Sao Joao" who was from Lagoa, Sao Miguel ,Acores.
Her last name may be Macedo. I assume they were married in the Acores.
Still early in my search so I'm not sure of all their children but my
Grandfather was born in the Acores on November 26, 1914, and went by
Antonio Raposo Borges, but I've found that he changed his name to this.
I've seen where Luis goes by Luis Raposo Borges but have seen him named as
Luis Raposo de Medeiros also.
Luis's dad was Antonio Raposo Borges. His mother was Maria de Jesus, not
sure of her last name.
Luis was 30 years of age when my Grandfather was born, so his birth year
is1883 or 1884. He died during the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918.
This is what I have so far:
Antonio Raposo Borges: born Nov 26/1914 Rosario, Lagoa, Sao Miguel Acores
I
I
Luis Raposo Borges or de Medeiros: born 1883 or 1884 Sandwich Islands,
Married Maria do Sao Joao in Acores
I
I
Antonio Raposo Borges married to Maria de Jesus, from Acores originally,
emigrated to Sandwich Islands, not sure when.
