Hi Liz,

I have a few questions for you.

Which company did you test with?

Which DNA test showed that the highest percentage of your DNA came from
Morocco?

Which Island(s) in the Azores is your family from, and what is your
percentage of Portuguese ancestry?

The Jews that settled in the Azores from Morocco are believed to have been
primarily Iberian Jews(Portuguese, Spaniards) that settled in Morocco
during the Inquisition. The Moroccan(Berber) percentage of their DNA is
very minor due to North African converts. The bulk of their DNA is Middle
Eastern/Southern European(from Iberian, Italian, and Greek converts)

I am very curious what freguesias in the Azores is your family from? There
is DNA evidence to support that there was some direct DNA input to the
Azores from Morocco during the settlement process of the Azores.
