Hermano, Thanks. But in 1813, they got his body from Ribeira Quente (isolated back then) to Vila Franca? There were no covered wagons. They must have used a boat and donkey over land? Was that unusual? I don't think I've run across any other ancestors being buried somewhere else. They planted them where they died.
