JR, Manuel Furtado (born 1740s Sao Miguel Arcanjo parish in Vila Franca) married Mariana da Trindade (born 1750s Sao Pedro parish in Vila Franca) somewhere in the 1770s probably in the Sao Pedro parish of Vila Franca in those missing pages. Shirley Allegre and I looked in SMA, SP, RQ, PG and I forget where else. We went about 5 freguesia west and 5 freguesias east. When we were in Ponta Delgada we asked to see the book and no where could we find those missing pages.
The first child, Justina da Piedade, was born in 1775 in SMA. The 2nd child, Maria da Trindade, was born 1777 in Sao Pedro. Kids 3 - 8 (1879-1892) were born in Ponta Garca. They were probably residing in RQ. Their only son goes by Antonio da Costa. As the adult children die, I find their father being named as Manuel Neto (on one record). Mom gets recorded as Mariana de Jesus or Maria de Jesus, so no help there. My only clue is Costa and that's no more help than Furtado!
