Hi Celeste, Manuel Cardoza did die in Hayward on that date, but he was buried in Half Moon Bay in Our Lady of Pillar cemetery. I wonder why he came up being there? Unfortunately no one has the local paper for 1923. It is MIA at all the libraries.
