Hello Antonio
The colorized tables of the J1-M365 project
https://www.familytreedna.com/public/m365/default.aspx?section=ycolorized

We have two cases from Ilha do Pico, Criação Velha, kits 394895 and 365808.
394895 13 22 15 10 12-19 11 16 11 13 11 29 20 8-9 11 11 25 14 20 25 14-15-16-17 10 9 21-22 15 13 17 21 31-38 12 10
365808 13 22 15 10 12-18 11 16 11 13 11 29 20 8-9 11 11 25 14 20 25 14-15-16-18 10 9 21-22 15 13 18 21 31-38 12 10
They have only three mismatches in 37 (37/34). A genetic distance probably related to an earlier Povoador from the Ilha do Pico.
They share the same DYS458=20 as a marker here associated only with the Ilha do Pico. 458=20 is different from all other results of the Project and so far exclusive of Ilha do Pico.
Kit N54547 is from the Ilha de São Miguel. I don't know the freguesia. The genetic distance from N54547 to 394895 is 4 (37/33) and the genetic distance from N54547 to 365808 is 7 (37/30)
We have two individuals from the Minho, kits 73612 and 373835, curiously both have 391=11
Kit 82640 if from Ourense, Galicia, just across the border of Portugal.

In my case, 73612, my conventional genealogy points to São Romão de Milhazes, Barcelos, close to where once upon a time stood the Castelo de Faria. That's a rugged hill ideal for defense named Franqueira. I think my Y-DNA had been there for a good time and they were from the lugar do Guilhado, they used the name Guilhado and Galhardo there, in Lisbon and in Brazil. We can find in the neighbourhood names like Gilmonde, name probably associated with the Suebi. All gutural names.

Abraço

Ricardo

That is very interesting Ricardo I had noticed some time ago that Sao Miguel and Pico shared more DNA than I had expected. Do you happen to know which freguesias those Azorean samples trace their most distant known paternal ancestors to? Do you have any indication of which area of the Minho?
