You need to get beyond 1917. You need one more generation. Maybe you have
that information now.

I use Tombo.pt as a portal to the CCA. You can navigate it in English too:
http://tombo.pt/en

Go down the left column to Acores (at the bottom). Click it.
Go down to Sao Miguel. Click it.
Go to Ponta Delgada. Click it.
Scroll down the Ps for Ponta Delgada. You will see the 3 churches as
Rosemarie mentioned.

I hope by Ponta Delgada you mean the city itself and not the council of
Ponta Delgada. Kinda like being from Gretna, Nebraska. Where's that? If you
were from there, you'd probably just start telling people you were from
Omaha, as most people can find that on a map. Some of our ancestors did the
same thing.
