left page, top record Hi Group, One last record which I would very much appreciate help with. This record taxes the my limits of my meager paleographic skills. Here's what I think I can make out: Em [?????] dias da [???] de 1561 anos nubr Eu joam fernandes [????] [??] desta igreja de Santa Cruz a [antonio?] fernandes filho de joam [martins?] [???????] com brazia nunes filha de [maria? manuel?] [alvernaz??] de [???????] forao [???]... .... after this line, I can't decipher or guess any more of the record. However, I do see that the last two lines appear to be identical to another record on the page, so I suppose that they are standard phrasing. As I read it, the priest is Joao Fernandes [something]. But, can anyone confirm or correct my interpretation of the names of the groom, bride and their parents.
