One of my 9th Great Grandfathers is Ignacio do Rego Baldaia born around 1609. He lived in Ribeira Grande. He married Maria Alveres Senra around 1634.

Carolina Do Rego and Antonio Bento Torres. Carolina's mother was "Maria do Rego Faulha.... I think it's the other way around. And should be Maria Faulha do Rego (do rego married name) Her father was Manuel do rego. Antonio Bento Torres parent's are listed on ancestry as Jose B and Maria da Gloria Baldaia. I can't find the records probably because I'm looking in the wrong parish. I've been searching in Capelas and Sao Vicente Sao Miguel. Carolina Birth year Aprox 1877 and Antonio (1873) What is interesting is that I saw that Eliseu in this forum stated in a post that both Baldaia and Do Rego are his relatives.
