Hi there, Here's an image of a confessional roll entry I'm trying to understand. This is, I believe, my ancestors Faustino da Silva and Rosa Candida. For the next person in their family, Maria J.a (Juaquina? Though that isn't on the abbreviations page I have from the Azores page) there is only an "M". Does this mean something? If it's mother, then it probably isn't my ancestor because Rosa's mother is Maria Candida and Faustino's mother is Anna Maria.
Any ideas?
